ግብርናችንን ለማዘመን፤ የቆላ ስንዴን በመስኖ ያስተዋወቁን ፤ ዶ/ር ጀማል መሐመድ፤ ክፍል 2

በዚህ ብሎግ ሥር ግብርናን በተመለከተ በተለያዩ ርዕሶች በተከታታይ አጫጭር ጽሁፎች አቀርባለሁ። እነዚህ ጽሑፎች የሚያተኩሩት እጅግ ከፍተኛ ቁጥር ያለዉ ህዝባችን በሚተዳደርበትና የኔም የሙያ መስኬ በሆነዉ ግብርና ላይ የራሴን አስተዋጽኦ ለማበርከት ነዉ። የዛሬዉ እነሆ፤

የቆላ ስንዴን በመስኖ ያስተዋወቁን ፤ ዶ/ር ጀማል መሐመድ፤ ክፍል 2

በክፍል 1 ጽሑፌ መስኖን በመጠቀም የቆላ ስንዴ ምርምር በመካከለኛዉ አዋሽ በተለይም በመልካ ወረር እርሻ ምርምር ማዕከል ስለ አስጀመሩልን ስለ ዶ/ር ጀማል መሐመድ አስተዋጽኦ በአጭሩ ዘግቤ ነበር። ጊዜዉ ከዛሬ 37 በፊት እ አ አ በ1985 ነዉ። ዶ/ር ጀማል ለሶስተኛ ዲግሬቸዉ ማሟያ የሚሆን የምርምር ሥራቸዉን የሚሰሩበት ዓመት ሲሆን እኔም በባችለር ዲግሪ ተመርቄና በእርሻ ምርምር ኢንስቲትዩት ተቀጥሬ ወደ መልካ ወረር እርሻ ምርምር ማዕከል የተቀላቀልኩበት ዓመት ነበር። በማዕከሉም የስንዴ አግሮኖሚስት በመሆን ከዶ/ር ጀማል ጋር በቅርበት እንድሰራ ተመደብኩ። በሕይወቴ የመጀመሪያውን የምርምር ሥራ የጀመርኩትም በዚሁ የስንዴ ምርምር ላይ ስለነበረ በዚያ የወረር ሞቃታማ አየር ቀኑን ሙሉ ሜዳ ላይ ስንሰራ የነበረዉ የሥራ ፍቅር እስካሁንም ድረስ ትዝ ይለኛል።

ዶ/ር ጀማል የምርምር ዉጤታቸዉን Potentials and Possibilities of Double Cropping Wheat After Cotton Under Irrigation in Awash Valley, Ethiopia. በሚል የፒ ኤች ዲ ቴሲሳቸዉን እ አ አ በ1989 ጀርመን ሀገር ጊሴን በሚገኘዉ የዩስቱስ ሊቢግ ዩኒቨርስቲ አሳትመዋል።

ከዚሁ የቆላ ስንዴ ምርምር ዉጤታቸው ጋር በተገናኘ በርካታ ጽሑፎችንም አሳትመዋል። እነዚህ ጽሑሁፎችም በሳይንሳዊ ጆርናል የታተሙና በፕሮሲዲንግ የታተሙ ተብለዉ ለሁለት ሊከፈሉ ይችላሉ።

በሳይንሳዊ ጆርናሎች ከታተሙት ውስጥ በቆላ ስንዴ ምርምር ላይ ካተኮሩት ውስጥ የሚከተሉት ይገኙበታል።

በክፍል 3 ጽሑፌ ከዶ/ር ጀማል ጋር ባለፉት ጥቂት ዓመታት በጋራ ልንሰራ ስላቀድነዉ ልዩ የምርምር ፕሮግራም አስነብባችኋለሁ።
